Journal 6-10-07

Vania got A+ on math. Now she knows how to compute 11 - 8 and 32 - 11 etc. Way to Go, Vania.

Book Reading: My First Story of Easter

Bible story. Written by Tim Dowley, illustrated by Roger Langton.

Vania's comment: The part I like best is that Jesus is alive again. I like Easter. Never kill people and never decide to kill people.

Book Reading: In The Beginning

Bible story, based on Genesis 1:1-27. Retold by Mary Quattlebaum, illustrated by Bryn Barnard.

Vania's comment: I like the last page when everything was done.

Book Reading: Oh, the THINKS you Can Think!

Written by Dr. Seuss.

Vania's comment: I like this book. The part I like the most is the RINK-RINKER-FINK. They like dinosaurs.

Here are some *thinks* little Vania thought after reading:

*** Think! If you don't like desert night, you can slide in the light.

*** Think! You can have a ship in the space made of by cheese.

and there were many more wonderful thoughts by Vania that her dad could not record them all.

The capability of sentence making

Though young, Vania has shown her talent on making good sentences by giving arbitrary two words. Here are two examples she made yesterday.

Words: lamb, stamp

Sentence: A stamp is stick to the face of a lamb.

Words: everything, nothing

Sentence: Everything is nothing in this world.
